While the CE has always been known as the "affordable" PRS, its affordability does not indicate a compromise of the quality for which the rest of the core series is renowned. The main difference resides in bolt-on neck construction versus a set neck. Typically set neck's are more expensive and laborious to create, providing a deeper, fuller resonance. Bolt-on neck construction lends a snappier, more percussive response, reminiscent of a Fender-inspired guitar. Another bonus of this CE 24, is its new 85/15 pickups, adding up to killer guitar at an unbeatable price in a custom finish!
