Return Policy

Our highly knowledgeable sales staff is dedicated to helping you find the right gear, please be sure to ask any and all questions regarding the item you are purchasing BEFORE you complete your purchase, so that we can do our best to ensure it is right for you and your needs.

All online purchases include a 5 day approval period. If not satisfied, YOU MUST contact Lark Guitars within the 5 day approval period from receipt to qualify for a return. You must contact Lark Guitars to receive a return authorization number (RA) and return shipping instructions. The RA must be clearly written or printed on the return label (NOT on the BOX). Any Packages sent back without a RA number or clearly visible RA may be refused.

Lark Guitars accepts returns on NEW items as long as arrangements are made for such within 5 days of purchase for in-store purchases, or within 5 days of the time you take delivery of your order for online/phone orders. Returned merchandise must be shipped within 48 hours of RA authorization. Returned items MUST be in the original condition and with all of the original packing (including owner’s manual, un-used, unregistered warranty card, paperwork and any other items that came with the item) in order to qualify for a refund. Any items not conforming to these policies may be subject to a minimal restocking fee of 20%.

When shipping your return, be sure to properly insure it for the full purchase price, and pack it in the same manner in which it was received. Shipping must be the same service as shipped to you. Please do NOT write on the product boxes.

Items such as picks, strings, polish/cleaners, wiping cloths, pickups and parts do not qualify for a return.

No refunds are available for Special Order items(items that were not in stock, but rather ordered per the customers request and/or to the customer's specifications), Items that involved a Trade at the time of the purchase, items that were sold "AS-IS", or items that were originally put on layaway.

The customer is responsible for all freight charges related to the order both ways (including "Free Shipping" items), as well as any processing fees incurred in the course of the sale. Sorry, we cannot refund freight charges.

For ANY RETURN made at our discretion after 5 days Lark Guitars will charge a minimum 20% restocking fee for returned effects pedals and amplifiers and a minimum 10% restocking fee for Guitars. The only exceptions are for products that are defective.

We understand that every return situation is different, so please feel free to contact the staff prior to your return with any issues you have so we can find the best resolution for everyone involved.

Items labeled as Closeout are non-returnable. These are often sold at a very steep discount and are considered “All Sales Final”.

Guitar/Bass Parts

Guitar or Bass pickups that have been installed or altered in any way.

Any Used Gear (No returns unless condition of item was misrepresented on the website or damaged in transit)

Any Oversized item (ex. 4x12, 2x15 cabinets etc.)

All Customer Special order items. (Such as custom Private Stock, Collings, Anderson, Mesa, Two-Rock amps etc. )

NO Returns on Trades. All Trades are Final.

Restocking Fees

All Amplifiers and Effects are subject up to a 20% restocking fee.

All guitars are subject up to a 15% restocking fee.

All products shipped for free are subject to inbound and outbound shipping fees, insurance fees, and payment processing fees.
