Lark Guitars is proud to introduce our latest custom installment of Fender Custom Shop Guitars. Dubbed the "Golden Zebra", playability, balance, body, versatility and power sum up this build.
Balanced Alder body, with 60's "C" one piece Quarter Sawn Roasted Flame Maple Neck has the makings of the classic with modern twist. 22 frets with a 12" radius and jumbo frets really make this classic Strat a real modern player. Why yes.. it does have a headstock truss adjust. Who want to take off their neck for basic routine maintanice? Easy and fast, they way it should be.
Relic Nitrocellulose finish yields a nice subtle touch to the looks, not too much or not enough, just right. A set of matched Hand-wound Texas Special pickups bring classic Texas Strat tone, with a hand wound Bareknuckle VHII in the bridge. We love, love, love this pickup for that slightly overwound classic PAF sound. Cleans up exceptionally well tons of great cut but can also bring the fire when needed! Looks, Tone, Feel and Playability together make for the perfectly balanced playing experience.
