This 1966 Stratocaster Masterbuilt by Austin MacNutt was secured directly at NAMM 2026 where we placed a bid and won the instrument for the shop. Masterbuilt instruments represent the highest level of craftsmanship from the Fender Custom Shop, with every detail overseen by the builder from start to finish.
Finished in Heavy Relic Olympic White, this Strat features a lively 2 piece ash body paired with a stunning 5A Birdseye maple neck and AAA round lam rosewood fingerboard. The 66 Strat Oval C neck carve, 9.5 inch radius, and 22 vintage upgrade frets provide a comfortable vintage feel with modern playability.
A full set of Lollar Supercaster pickups in gold delivers clear, dynamic Strat tones with added punch and articulation. Combined with Strat blender wiring, this setup opens up additional tonal options beyond the standard 5 way switching.
Relic gold hardware, a black white black pickguard, and the large 64 through 67 Strat headstock complete the look of this standout Masterbuilt instrument.
