Inspired by the stretch of South Texas once known as the Wild Horse Desert, our Lark Limited 10 “Wild Horse” run takes the familiar feel of a 1963 Stratocaster and pushes it into something more raw, open, and untamed. With no pickguard, no middle pickup, and rear-routed controls, the guitar has a lean, wide-open look that immediately separates it from a traditional Strat. A Custom Shop hand-wound Texas Special in the neck keeps the Fender DNA intact, while a Bare Knuckle Mule in the bridge adds a thicker, more powerful voice with a PAF-style punch. Finished with a fast 12" radius, Jumbo 6100 frets, and a Heavy Relic nitro finish, the “Wild Horse” feels like a Custom Shop Strat built to run a little harder.
Lark Guitars is proud to offer this exclusive Fender Custom Shop run, built with a voice and personality all its own. The “Wild Horse” is limited to just 10 pieces, and we cannot wait for players to get these in their hands, plug in, and feel what makes this run so special.
