Collings 620 SM LC - Tobacco Sunburst
Fully hollow, fully realized. The 620 SM LC takes its shape from 1960s hollow bodies and stands apart from the rest of the Collings electric lineup. Its trestle-braced maple laminate body is 1⅞" deep, a quarter inch more than the thinline models, which makes it open and expressive while keeping the articulate feel of a good semi-hollow.
This one is fitted with custom humbuckers from the Diadem set, voiced for clarity and presence with added musical richness. A Bigsby vibrato sits on the top, paired with a pinned ebony base and tune-o-matic bridge for stable performance and rich sustain. The neck is maple with a custom profile, topped with an ebony fingerboard, and the headstock carries the distinctive "Flipped Haircut" shape with an ebony veneer.
Visually, it makes a statement. The high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Tobacco Sunburst is paired with a black three-ply pickguard, an ebony truss rod cover, black control rings, and Davies Radio knobs.
