The I-30 LC takes the concept of the tried and true double cutaway, fully hollow, this one equipped with Humbuckers and refines and polishes to such depth that it offers something entirely new for the modern player. These guitars are some of the most acoustically responsive and versatile guitars Collings has to offer.
Lightweight body, laminated maple construction with Trestle Bracing serves up tones that have both depth and and harmonic richness, while at the same time having the sweet top end and lovely "airiness" that comes from a full hollow body.
Throbak SLE101 breath fire into this instrument when plugged in. They produce tight, big percussive and fuller tone all over. Couple that with a Bigsby Tail-Piece, and chords ring out with great definition and space between the notes. When playing single notes, this guitar sings like an angel.
