This Fender Custom Shop ’52 Telecaster has a little extra story behind it. Built by apprentice builder Dan Gonzalez, this NAMM-selected piece was one we were fortunate enough to win by bid, making it a standout from the start.
Finished in Relic Desert Sand over roasted ash, it has that classic early Tele look with a little more depth and character. The roasted birdseye maple neck feels broken-in and lively, while the Josefina hand-wound ’51 Nocaster pickups bring all the snap, bite, and punch you want from a great Tele.
It is vintage-inspired, easy to play, and full of the attitude that makes a Custom Shop Tele so addictive.
