This Fender Custom Shop 1957 Relic Stratocaster from the 2016 Custom Collection Time Machine Series captures everything that makes a great ’57 Strat so special. Built with an alder body finished in black lacquer relic, a one-piece quarter-sawn maple neck, and a comfortable 57 Soft V carve, it feels instantly familiar the moment you wrap your hand around the neck. The handwound 50s Strat pickup set delivers classic chime, sparkle, and dynamic response, with plenty of warmth and bite when pushed. Vintage hardware, a parchment pickguard, and period-correct details round out the timeless Custom Shop look and feel.
This example has been kept in excellent condition, with one noticeable scuff on the headstock logo. Purely cosmetic, it adds a touch of character to an otherwise clean guitar. A true Custom Shop Strat that plays, feels, and sounds every bit as inspiring as it looks.
