Enrollment
We have rolling admission, so you can start at any point during the month. If enrollment is after the 1st of the month, tuition for that month will be prorated at the rate of $35 per half-hour lesson and $60 per hour lesson. Tuition for the first month will be collected at enrollment.
Tuition
- $140 for a 4 week month, $175 for a 5 week month (1/2 Hour Lessons)
- $240 for a 4 week month, $300 for a 5 week month (1 Hour Lessons)
Tuition must be paid in full at the beginning of each month. Tuition payments are for a specific lesson time reserved for each student, thus payment must be made regardless of attendance. This includes illness, holidays, vacations, etc. (Exceptions: New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas.)
Attendance
Upon enrollment, your lesson time will be assigned on the instructors’ available time. Teachers are contracted and paid per scheduled lesson, students are required to attend their scheduled lessons on time. Please be sure to schedule a lesson time slot that you can commit to on a regular basis. If student is more than 10 minutes late the instructors will not be expected to wait.
Make-ups
Make-ups will be considered under the following circumstances, but will be limited to instructors schedule. e.g. Death in the Family, Medical emergency, Act of God
Discontinuation of Lessons
We ask you give 30 day notice from the first of the month that you would like to withdraw.
Meet Your Instructor
San Antonio native Terry Hankins began his musical studies at Incarnate Word College. In 1989, he moved to Denton, Texas to continue his education at the University of North Texas.
There, as an adjunct faculty member, he taught private guitar lessons to both undergraduate and graduate level students. He was also a regular on the Dallas music scene, working as accompanist, solo guitarist, and ensemble player.
