Feel: At 24 1/8″, the Ladybird has the shortest scale length of any electric Collings makes. The slinkier feel makes it notably expressive under the fingers.
Sound: This one is loaded with Righteous Sound Cathedral pickups, voiced specifically for the Ladybird. They go from a whisper to a howl at the player's command, and they keep the note clarity Collings is known for. It ships with D'Addario flat wound .011s, which add a smooth, slightly muted warmth in the manner of a classic archtop.
