This 2011 Collings OM1 features a striking Jet Black finish over a Sitka spruce top with Honduran mahogany back, sides, and neck. It is in great condition overall, showing only light scratching consistent with careful use.
This OM1 is especially unique thanks to its Broken Glass fingerboard inlays, an option no longer offered on Collings acoustic models. Other premium appointments include an ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, nickel Waverly tuners, Ivoroid body binding with b/w/b/w top purfling, tortoise pickguard, and a deluxe hardshell case.
Built with Collings’ pre-war scalloped X-bracing, a 25 1/2" scale length, 1 3/4" nut width, and Modified V neck profile, this OM1 delivers the balanced, articulate voice the model is known for, with a sleek custom look that sets it apart from standard production examples.
