Built to celebrate Mike Campbell’s 30-year run with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Duesenberg Alliance Series Mike Campbell 30th Anniversary model brings together a custom finish, refined appointments, and unmistakable Duesenberg character. This semi-hollow electric features a laminated spruce top with laminated flamed maple back and sides, plus a solid center block for added sustain and feedback resistance. Its slightly smaller Starplayer TV-inspired body keeps things comfortable and balanced, pairing beautifully with the smooth Medium “D” maple neck and Plek’d Indian rosewood fingerboard.
Tone-wise, the Duesenberg pickup set delivers the clarity, chime, and versatility the brand is known for, while the custom wiring opens up a funkier, more open middle-position sound. Duesenberg Z-Tuners and a steel saddle bridge keep tuning solid, and the Diamond Deluxe vibrato adds plenty of expressive range without getting in the way. Visually, this guitar is loaded with standout details, including a matching headstock, cream binding, cream dot inlays, signature nickel pickguard, 30th Anniversary logo, PUR lacquer finish, and Duesenberg’s signature three-step art deco styling.
