MESA/Boogie upset 80s rock stages with the release of innovative Split Back guitar cabinets. This retro sound and look now returns in all its Diamond Grille glory! Split Back offers the option to run closed-back and open-back cabs at the same time and delivers sparkling clarity for clean styles along with the tight, percussive low-end of a closed-back cab for high-gain work. These cabs pair perfectly with the iconic Mark IIC+(+) head from the mid 80s or even the 2 Channel 90s Dual Rectifier for the perfect portable “vintage Boogie” sound, feel, and styling.
The unique configuration of the Split Back gives players the opportunity to blend open and closed back cabinets. Catering to a wide range of musical styles, from tight, aggressive metal tones to more ambient, space-filling clean and overdriven sounds, these Boogie Split Back Cabs are one-of-a-kind. Each cabinet is configured with easily removable Track-lock casters, Two 1x12" 16 ohm Celestion 90s for a combined Impedance of 8 ohm mono or 4 ohm paralleled out. These cabinets represent Mesa's dedication to meeting player needs in musical expression and flexibility.
