The trapeze
The Collings-designed trapeze tailpiece is one of the first details that catches your eye. Paired with a rosewood bridge, it gives the Ladybird that familiar old hollowbody silhouette. The factory flatwound strings add a smooth, warm touch that fits the guitar’s personality.
Cathedral pickups
The Righteous Sound Cathedral pickups were developed specifically for the Ladybird, with a voice that responds to how you play. Back off for softer passages or dig in for a little more bite, with the clarity Collings is known for.
Up close, the tortoise inlays in the pickup covers are just as interesting. They tie the electronics into the rest of the guitar without looking like an afterthought.
A little radio charm
The Davies Radio knobs feel right at home here. Their dark finish, ridged edges, and small pointers look like something borrowed from an old radio cabinet. Against the Satin Teal, they give the controls a character all their own.
