Lark Guitars is proud to welcome Shabat Guitars to the shop, a partnership that feels especially meaningful with ties dating back to our original location and the early days that shaped our ear for great instruments. What began as long time admiration became conviction after spending real time with the lineup at NAMM.
Built to Be Played
Every Shabat instrument is built with a clear focus: feel, response, and reliability in the hands of a serious player. From the first chord, the resonance is immediate. Notes stay articulate under gain. Cleans remain open and balanced. The neck carves feel settled and intentional.
Shabat blends vintage inspired foundations with modern consistency. Thoughtful body contours, dialed in hardware, premium pickups, and ultra thin nitro finishes are not upgrades. They are part of the design. These are guitars built to perform night after night, without sacrificing character or soul.
Current Offerings
Our first shipment from Shabat includes three distinct models that each highlight a different side of the builder’s approach. From high performance modern builds to refined vintage inspired designs, the lineup reflects the versatility and thoughtful craftsmanship that drew us to the brand in the first place.
The Cheetah
Designed with speed and precision in mind, the Cheetah takes cues from the high performance guitars of the late 20th century while maintaining the refinement Shabat is known for. With 24 frets, locking tuners, and powerful humbuckers mounted directly to the body, it delivers clarity, sustain, and effortless playability for players who want a modern edge.
The Lynx
The Lynx captures the familiarity of a classic platform while elevating every detail. Lightweight alder or swamp ash bodies, comfortable contours, and flexible pickup configurations make it an incredibly adaptable instrument. Whether played clean or pushed into gain, the Lynx maintains balance, resonance, and a natural response.
The Puma
With its offset design and 24.75 inch scale length, the Puma offers a slightly softer, more elastic feel under the fingers. Its wider body shape and thoughtful balance make it comfortable in any position, while premium hardware and pickups provide a voice that is warm, expressive, and unmistakably alive.
