The Player II Jazzmaster keeps its timeless character, but it's built for the way players work now. The neck is made for speed and comfort, with a Modern "C" profile finished in smooth satin urethane on the back, plus a 9.5" radius slab rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body comes in classic Fender finishes as well as fresh colors pulled from the archives that have never been offered before.
Alnico V Player Series single-coil Jazzmaster pickups deliver bright, clear highs, expressive mids and tight, controlled lows that suit any style of music. A 3-way toggle switch lets you move easily from the glassy chime of the neck pickup to the sharp bite of the bridge, with plenty of tones in between.
A 6-saddle Jazzmaster bridge with floating tremolo, upgraded Mustang-style saddles and ClassicGear tuners keeps your tuning steady while you explore a wide range of sounds.
